Mahesh B. he is a dedicated Library and Information Science professional and indepented researcher with over 2 years of experience in academic and research libraries. Currently, I am working as a Professional Assistant at Chanakya University Knowledge Centre, where he handle institutional repository management software, e-resource services, plagiarism detection, and usage analytics.
He have prior experience at the JRD Tata Memorial Library, IISc, Bengaluru, where he contributed to research repositories, bibliometric analysis, and digital library platforms such as DSpace, EPrints, and IRINS. his work also involved supporting accreditation processes and implementing modern library technologies like RFID systems.
Academically, he hold an MLISc. from the University of Mysore and have qualified both UGC-NET (PhD) and KSET, making he is eligible for Assistant Professor and Assisnat Librarian positions. he possess strong skills in cataloguing (MARC21, Dublin Core & RDA), library automation (KOHA), Digital library softwares (DSpace, Eprints) and Remote Access Software (MyLOFT, Shiboleth).
His also actively engaged in research, with publications and ongoing studies in areas such as information behavior, digital repositories, and AI applications in library science.
