Abstract
Herein, we report a room temperature stable terminal Cu(III)-azide complex supported by a strong ligand field with bis-amido and pyridine-based r-donors in a protected coordination environment. This Cu(III)-species can be generated both chemically and electrochemically and shows electrophilic reactivity towards O–H, C–H activation, and azidation reactions.
